God’s Love and Man’s Love

God's Love and Man's Love
...God's Love...
Part I
Note: this article is purposefully written in a negative manner in some
places.
Does God (Spiritually) Love Every Individual of Mankind ?
The natural man cannot distinguish the love of the Spirit from the
natural love that is in all mankind. All people have a natural love that
serves the things of their earthly nature, and is commendable for the
purpose that it serves, but it is important to the (born again) child of
God that these different loves are never confused with each another. It
seems to me, that the reason the natural man cannot understand these
things, is because he has never truly experienced the love of the Spirit;
so he then must have no way to compare these two different loves. In
fact the natural man has no way of making any truly spiritual
comparisons. The Apostle so clearly explains this to the spiritual mind:
“…Now we have received, not the spirit of the world, but the spirit which is of God;
that we might know the things that are freely given to us of God…
Which things also we speak, not in the words which man's wisdom teacheth, but which
the Holy Ghost teacheth; comparing spiritual things with spiritual…
…But the natural man receiveth not the things of the Spirit of God: for they are
foolishness unto him: neither can he know them, because they are spiritually
discerned.
…But he that is spiritual judgeth all things, yet he himself is judged of no (natural)
man…”1 Cor 2:12-16.
(The natural man, in his way of thinking about salvation and the fundamental
principals of the Grace of God, with the attendant Glory thereof, can make no real
sense of, or have a true appreciation for these things of the teaching of the Spirit, as
it appears to the spiritual mind, because they can only be seen, much less gloried in
only through the faculties of the renewed mind.)
The spirit that is “of the world” is a different spirit from the Spirit of Christ.
The Apostle John perfectly agrees With Paul on this. Listen to his
words:
“…Beloved, believe not every spirit, but try the spirits whether they are of God:
because many false prophets are gone out into the world.
Hereby know ye the Spirit of God: Every spirit that confesseth that Jesus Christ is
come in the flesh is of God:
And every spirit that confesseth not that Jesus Christ is come in the flesh is not of
God: and this is that spirit of antichrist, whereof ye have heard that it should come;
and even now already is it in the world.
Ye are of God, little children, and have overcome them: because greater is he that is in
you, than he that is in the world.
They are of the world: therefore speak they of the world, and the world heareth them.
We are of God: he that knoweth God heareth us; he that is not of God heareth not
us. Hereby know we the spirit of truth, and the spirit of error.
Beloved, let us love one another: for love is of God; and every one that loveth is born
of God, and knoweth God.
He that loveth not knoweth not God; for God is love. 1 John 4: 1-8.
“… Jesus answered, Verily, verily, I say unto thee, Except a man be born of water and
of the Spirit, he cannot enter into the kingdom of God.
“…That which is born of the flesh is flesh; and that which is born of the Spirit is spirit.
Marvel not that I said unto thee, Ye must be born again.
The wind bloweth where it listeth, and thou hearest the sound thereof, but canst not
tell whence it cometh, and whither it goeth: so is every one that is born of the Spirit…”
John 3:5-9.
The above verses clearly puts to silence all modern day so called “evangelists”, who
are trying to “save” the world at their own charges, based on their own human
wisdom, because their whole philosophy and practice is founded upon the idea that
anyone of the human race is able to hear, and therefore (has the option) to believe
the gospel. The truth is, the natural man, in his mind has no real ability, because He
is depraved in his natural faculties toward the love of God with no real desire to love
or believe the gospel, as it is in Christ Jesus, but is even at enmity with it in his
natural mind until it pleases God to “born” him of His Spirit, and they that do not
know God in the work of salvation, shall never know Him in this respect in Christ,
until it pleases Christ to reveal Himself to them as their only Savior.”
Now, can you understand that the world in His comparison that Christ is referring
to, and John’s world is not limited to the mind of the carnal Jews and their world
(system,) but to that natural, or carnal spirit that influences and leads the fallen and
spiritually depraved natural minds of all mankind.
“…As it is written, Jacob have I loved, but Esau have I hated…” Rom 9:13.
“…I have loved you, saith the LORD. Yet ye say, Wherein hast thou loved us? Was not
Esau Jacob's brother? saith the LORD: yet I loved Jacob,
And I hated Esau, and laid his mountains and his heritage waste for the dragons of
the wilderness…” Mal 1:2-3.
“… Having loved His own which were in the world, He loved them unto the end…”
John 13:1.
“…A new commandment I give unto you, That ye love one another; as I have loved
you, that ye also love one another…” John 13:34.
“…He that hath my commandments, and keepeth them, he it is that loveth me: and he
that loveth me shall be loved of my Father, and I will love him, and will manifest
myself to him.
Judas saith unto him, not Iscariot, Lord, how is it that thou wilt manifest thyself unto
us, and not unto the world?
Jesus answered and said unto him, If a man love me, he will keep my words: and my
Father will love him, and we will come unto him, and make our abode with him.
He that loveth me not keepeth not my sayings…” John 14:21-24.
“… As the Father hath loved me, so have I loved you: continue ye in my love.
If ye keep my commandments, ye shall abide in my love; even as I have kept my
Father's commandments, and abide in his love.
These things have I spoken unto you, that my joy might remain in you, and that your
joy might be full.
This is my commandment, That ye love one another, as I have loved you…” John
15:9-12.
“…I in them, and thou in me, that they may be made perfect in one; and that the world
may know that thou hast sent me, and hast loved them, as thou hast loved me…” John
17:23.
“…For I have given unto them the words which thou gavest me; and they have
received them, and have known surely that I came out from thee, and they have
believed that thou didst send me.
I pray for them: I pray not for the world, but for them which thou hast given me; for
they are thine.
And all mine are thine, and thine are mine; and I am glorified in them…” John 17:8-
10.
“…Herein is love, not that we loved God, but that he loved us, and sent his Son to be
the propitiation for our sins
Beloved, if God so loved us, we ought also to love one another.
No man hath seen God at any time. If we love one another, God dwelleth in us, and
his love is perfected in us.
Hereby know we that we dwell in him, and he in us, because he hath given us of his
Spirit.
And we have seen and do testify that the Father sent the Son to be the Saviour of the
world.
Whosoever shall confess that Jesus is the Son of God, God dwelleth in him, and he in
God.
And we have known and believed the love that God hath to us. God is love; and he
that dwelleth in love dwelleth in God, and God in him…” 1 John 4:10-16.
“…Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who hath blessed us with
all spiritual blessings in heavenly places in Christ:
According as he hath chosen us in him before the foundation of the world, that we
should be holy and without blame before him in love…” Eph 1:2-4.
“…For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever
believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life…”John 3:16.
“…Herein is love, not that we loved God, but that he loved us, and sent his Son to be
the propitiation for our sins.
Beloved, if God so loved us, we ought also to love one another…” John 4:10-11.
“…We love him, because he first loved us.
And this commandment have we from him, That he who loveth God love his brother
also…” 1 John 4:19-21.
“…But there are some of you that believe not. For Jesus knew from the beginning who
they were that believed not, and who should betray him.
And he said, Therefore said I unto you, that no man can come unto me, except it were
given unto him of my Father.
From that time many of his disciples went back, and walked no more with him…”
John 6:64-66.
Who are God’s (spiritual) children inwardly taught to (spiritually) love ?
I repeat the above statements
:
“The natural man cannot distinguish the love of the Spirit from the natural love that
is in all mankind. All people have a natural love that serves the things of their
earthly nature, and is commendable for the purpose that it serves, but it is
important to the (born again) child of God that these different loves are never
confused with each another. It seems to me, that the reason the natural man cannot
understand these things, is because he has never truly experienced the love of the
Spirit; so he then must have no way to compare these two different loves. In fact the
natural man has no way of making any truly spiritual comparisons.”
“... And we know that all things work together for good to them that love God, to
them who are the called according to His purpose…” Rom 8:28.
“…Neither, because they are the seed of Abraham, are they all children: but, In Isaac
shall thy seed be called.
That is, They which are the children of the flesh, these are not the children of God:
but the children of the promise are counted for the seed…” Rom 9:7-8.
“…Peter, an apostle of Jesus Christ, to the strangers scattered throughout Pontus,
Galatia, Cappadocia, Asia, and Bithynia,
… Elect according to the foreknowledge of God the Father, through sanctification of
the Spirit, unto obedience and sprinkling of the blood of Jesus Christ: Grace unto you,
and peace, be multiplied…” 1 Pet 1:1-2….
“…Seeing ye have purified your souls in obeying the truth through the Spirit unto
unfeigned love of the brethren, see that ye love one another with a pure heart
fervently…” 1 Pet 1:22.
“…Being born again, not of corruptible seed, but of incorruptible, by the Word (Logos,
or The Living Word, The Logical Word, The Son of God) of God, which liveth and
abideth for ever. (Only Christ lives and abides forever) Christ lives of Himself, and He
lives within His children. Gal 2:28. “…Who only hath immortality…” 1 Tim 6:16.
“…We know that we have passed from death unto life, because we love the
brethren…” 1 John 3:14.
“…Honor all. Love the brotherhood. Fear God. Honor the king…1 Pet 2:17.
“…Whosoever believeth that Jesus is the Christ is (already) born (not shall be born)
of God: and every one that loveth him that begat (born them of His spirit) loveth him
also that is begotten (born of the spirit) of him…” 1 John 5:1.
[Dead persons can’t believe or do anything else, since they have no (spiritual) life.
Activity is the evidence of life, not the cause of it.]
“…And you hath he quickened, who were dead in trespasses and sins…” Eph 2:1.
“…By this we know that we love the children of God, when we love God, and keep his
commandments..” 1 John 5:2.
“…Love not the world, neither the things that are in the world. If any man love the
world, the love of the Father is not in him.
"..For all that is in the world, the lust of the flesh, and the lust of the eyes, and the pride
of life, is not of the Father, but is of the world...” 1 John 2:15-16.
“…He that loveth father or mother more than me is not worthy of me: and he that
loveth son or daughter more than me is not worthy of me, and he that taketh not his
cross, and followeth after me, is not worthy of me…” Mat 10:37-38.
“…That ye may be blameless and harmless, the sons of God, without rebuke, in the
midst of a crooked and perverse nation, among whom ye shine as lights in the
world…” 1 Phil 2:15.
Prayerfully submitted,
A poor sinner, trusting in the righteousness of Christ,
