"New Hope"-
..Sequenced by O.Allen Bailey..

"...And when he was come into the ship, he that had been possessed with the devil prayed him that he might be with him.
Howbeit Jesus suffered him not, but saith unto him, Go home to thy friends, and tell them how great things the Lord hath done for thee, and hath had compassion on thee.
And he departed, and began to publish in Decapolis how great things Jesus had done for him: and all men did marvel..." Mark 5:18-20.

"...And he charged them that they should tell no man: but the more he charged them, so much the more a great deal they published it;
And were beyond measure astonished, saying, He hath done all things well: he maketh both the deaf to hear, and the dumb to speak..." Mark 7:37.

He Did All Things Well

By O. Allen Bailey

6.6.8.6 - SM

The sweetness of these words!
That never 'fore was said;
Our heart and soul, these strains upgird,
When by His spirit led.

Lord Jesus came to earth,
With us He here did dwell;
And in a stable made His berth,
When God did all things well.

In youth, we see Him there,
With parents He did dwell;
From God's Purpose He could not err,
He, Who did all things well.

Down to old Jordan's wave,
Was sunk into it's swell;
When John submitted, there so brave
To Him Who did there well.

- Did that no man could do,
Said that no man could tell;
For His Word distilled as the dew,
His Love flowed as a well.

His Power here raised the dead,
With sinners He did dwell;
There, multitudes with bread He fed;
And there did all things well.

Where sin and death had dwelt,
Their pain and fear did quell;
Their suff'rings too, Himself had felt,
-He must do all things well.

In sorrow here He went,
Where there His people fell;
To all of these His soul was sent,
To there, all things do well.

He called them to Himself,
God's wond'rous works to tell;
Not for their own glory of pelf,
But they with Him should dwell.

To lead them in His Way,
(Nothing had they to sell);
But as hea'rlds of a dawning Day,
To show all things were well.

Men came and took Him there,
Into their hands He fell;
This was His Father's Will, He bear,
And thus, do all things well.

With whips they scourged our Head,
Where sin and Satan dwell;
And as a lamb to slaughter led,
Under this cross He fell.

They nailed Him to a tree,
The wonder who can tell?
That He an off'ring, thus should be,
And still do all things well.

Oh, how our hopes may sag,
And here our sorrow swell;
Our hope and comfort in God flag,
When sin, we can't repel;

Our prospects too will die,
When can no longer tell;
But in this mundane earth we lie,
And sin's old prison cell;

Till, too we're raised with Him,
Above sin's darkened sky;
Till light is giv'n, our eyes so dim,
And know that He did die

To show that He was God,
And all around to tell;
"My blood has stained this earthly sod,
I have done all things well."

"I'll send My Spirit down,
He in you then shall dwell;
I've placed on you My right'ous gown,
For I've done all things well.

I'll take you Home some Day,
My praise you'll ever swell;
You'll there be blessed to ever say,
'Jesus did all things well' "
