"... And from Jesus Christ, who is the faithful witness, and the first begotten of the dead, and the prince of the kings of the earth. Unto him that loved us, and washed us from our sins in his own blood,
And hath made us kings and priests unto God and his Father; to him be glory and dominion for ever and ever. Amen.
Behold, he cometh with clouds; and every eye shall see him, and they also which pierced him: and all kindreds of the earth shall wail because of him. Even so, Amen.
I am Alpha and Omega, the beginning and the ending, saith the Lord, which is, and which was, and which is to come, the Almighty..." Rev 1:3-8.
"... And they sung a new song, saying, Thou art worthy to take the book, and to open the seals thereof: for thou wast slain, and hast redeemed us to God by thy blood out of every kindred, and tongue, and people, and nation;
And hast made us unto our God kings and priests: and we shall reign on the earth..." Rev 5:9-10.
Behold, He Cometh With Clouds
LM
We often hear so many speak
Of a kingdom that's yet to come;
While they seem not to have a peek
Of the present, glorious one.
Thay cannot see that when Christ came
He made more than a Heav'nly Home,
Here too, to raise an holy flame
When His redemptive work was done.
The Law of God, destroyed not,
For all it's power doth yet abound;
To still condemn, is the Law's power
As here God's children oft have found.
As Mose's eye lost not it's power
To look and see the promised land;
But sin did still over him tower
According to the Divine plan.
For he could not look to the end
Of the commandment's present view;
Till God Himself, His Son did send
To show His cov'nant, ever new.
We can't fulfill the Law's demands
Though we often may try and try;
But to our cell often remands,
And there we often cry and cry.
Till sweet deliv'rance, not compared,
To the old prison we've been in;
And to the jail where we despaired,
Where Law had placed us in our sin.
For Jesus came, the bars to break,
And set our soul and spirit free;
When all our sin Himself did take,
And died Himself upon the tree.
His Life He gave, that we might have
Life, and it more abundantly;
And still applies His healing salve
To us in this life presently.
He sends His Spirit from above,
He comforts us in His Dear Love;
All of our fears He doth remove,
And leads us where we've not known of,
Blessed deliv'rance, now so sweet,
His coming now, His Face we greet,
While now our souls, rise Him to meet;
To reign with Him upon His seat;
How sweet, shall then the Glory be
When Grace shall fully set us free;
When weeping eyes, our Lord can't see,
When hanging there upon the tree;
With pierced side and nail-print hands,
We mourn and weep with all earth's bands;
Till Grace forever with these lands,
And eternally, Love expands.
