Behold, He Cometh With Clouds,

"...Behold, he cometh with clouds; and every eye shall see him, and they also which pierced him: and all kindreds of the earth shall wail because of him. Even so, Amen.
I am Alpha and Omega, the beginning and the ending, saith the Lord, which is, and which was, and which is to come, the Almighty..." Rev 1:7-8.

In Christ there's a vital union;
In His flesh we have communion,
And by His saints it's really felt,
In all of those with whom He's dealt.

When they receive the truth in Love,
And speak in Love, that from above,
'Tis the foretaste of heav'nly joys,
Which cares of earth cannot alloy.

Helpless and dependant are we,
For things that Grace gives us so free !
If only here, this Hope we have,
- Would never be a healing salve.

But, Jesus now within us lives,
Our Life and comfort freely gives;
The Hope of Glory, here within,
When He appears without our sin.

For He has risen from the dead,
And by His Spirit, they are led;
Though He ascended up on high,
Still knows their grief and every sigh.

His gospel shines in clarity,
With it's own singularity;
But the veil of flesh intervenes,
Between our view and Heaven's scenes.

But every view of Thy Dear Grace,
Our every suff'ring will erase;
The Holy Place, He entered in,
And reappears without our sin.

Once He appeared upon the earth,
And lived that we would have new birth;
So, we who live, in patience wait
Before His temple's outer gate;

He was appointed, once to die,
And left His legacy on high;
He comes now to probate His Will;
In us, salvation, to fulfill.

As the high priest appeared there twice;
There they waited with anxious eyes;
When the bells on his garments ring,
Joy again in their hearts did spring.

It's not appeared what we shall be,
Till there in glory, Christ shall see;
But we shall know Him as He is,
In that full glory which He gives.

When this mortal is swallowed up,
By Life, to drink Christ's ceaseless cup,
His Own Life will endless flow,
His Love and Power we'll ever know.
