ALL ALONE

"...I have trodden the winepress alone;

and of the people there was none with me: for I will tread them in mine anger, and trample them in my fury; and their blood shall be sprinkled upon my garments, and I will stain all my raiment.
For the day of vengeance is in mine heart, and the year of my redeemed is come.

And I looked, and there was none to help;

and I wondered that there was none to uphold: therefore mine own arm brought salvation unto me; and my fury, it upheld me..." Isa 63:3-5.

"...And she shall bring forth a son, and thou shalt call his name JESUS: for he shall save his people from their sins..." Matt 1:21.

8,6 - C M

Christ left the heavenly glory,
He alone, all alone,
Now this be my oratory,
This alone, this alone;

To seek and SAVE that which was lost,
All alone, all alone;
His soul had counted up the cost,
He alone, all alone.

No one to help with him was found,
There alone, there alone;
When God Himself to earth was bound,
He alone, all alone.

He came to set His people free,
He alone, He alone.
By faith I feel He came for me,
Though alone, though alone.

The Lord Himself came to this earth,
He alone, He alone,
In a stable was given birth,
All alone, all alone.

The Son of God, He walked alone,
All alone, all alone;
In grief and sorrow trod along,
All alone, all alone.

Though He was least in the kingdom,
All alone, all alone;
Only He could give us freedom,
He alone, He alone.

To show that man shall not glory,
Man alone, all alone,
Only when Christ, his eyes shall see,
Christ alone, He alone.

Though, as God He is the greatest,
He alone, He alone;
And the eternally brightest,
He alone, He alone.

Of no repute, He made Himself,
All alone, all alone,
For no earthly honor or pelf,
Came alone, all alone.

He was least, because thus humble,
He alone, He alone;
Paradox! For He was able
All alone, all alone,

To save and succor His people
All alone, all alone;
His Pow’r and merit was ample,
It alone, all alone.

When the fullness of time was come,
He alone, He alone,
In eternity, ordained from,
All alone, all alone;

Gave His Own life that we should live,
His alone, All alone,
This was God’s unspeakable gift,
His to give, His alone.

He was sunk in Jordan’s waters
All alone, all alone,
By the one that He came after,
There alone, All alone.

There, when He was about thirty,
All alone, all alone,
Went into His native city,
All alone, all alone;

He preached to them His Own gospel,
There alone, there alone -
Was rejected by the people,
There alone, there alone;

When He said He came for His Own,
He, their Shepherd alone,
For they were bone of His Own bone,
His alone, His alone.

For His sheep He came to succor,
These alone, these alone:
To their soul becomes the Anchor,
He alone, He alone.

He called to Himself whom He would,
He alone, He alone,
As in His Will etern’ly stood,
They alone, all alone.

They of Him, had thus not chosen-
He alone, All alone,
Had taken them in His bosom,
His alone, All alone;

Needed none to give a reason;
Why alone, He alone,
Of these few, He had thus chosen,
They alone, they alone;

Only to fulfill His pleasure,
It alone, all alone,
To become their heav’nly treasure,
He alone, He alone.

He revealed to them His Father,
He alone, He alone;
And will all His people gather,
He alone, all alone.

There He prayed within the garden,
All alone, He alone;
All to secure these a pardon,
There alone, there alone;

He was taken by the people,
He alone, all alone;
They mocked and dressed Him in purple,
There alone, there alone;

Placed a crown of thorns upon Him,
There alone, all alone;
In blood and tears His head did swim,
All alone, all alone.

There, our stripes they placed upon Him,
He alone, He alone,
He, Who was the Holy Victim,
He alone, All alone.

There, a tree was placed upon Him,
All alone, all alone;
Watch with wonder, ye seraphim!
There alone, all alone.

Under it, He fell through weakness,
There alone, there alone;
He who came in our own likeness,
All alone, all alone.

There, the hill He thus ascended,
All alone, all alone;
To this end He had descended,
All alone, all alone.

For this cause came into the world,
All alone, all alone,
When all our sin was on Him hurled,
On Him alone, alone.

They nailed Him to the wooden tree,
There alone, there alone;
But it was done to make us free,
When alone, all alone.

-Took the place of mur’der and thief,
He alone, He alone;
To give the guilty His relief,
There alone, all alone;

There He cried - in death was taken,
He alone, all alone;
“Why hast thou my soul forsaken,
Now alone, so alone?”

Bowed His head unto His Father,
There alone, there alone -
He had suffered as no other,
All alone, all alone.

“In thy hands commend My spirit”,
Here alone, here alone,
“For nothing did Thy Son omit,”
Here alone, all alone.

They placed Him in the sepulcher,
All alone, all alone,
He, whom men had called a faker,
All alone, all alone,

In three days, He burst asunder,
All alone, all alone;
As the angels look with wonder,
There alone, all alone.

Returned again in His body,
All alone, all alone;
To His Own few poor and needy,
There alone, there alone;

There to comfort and assure them,
They alone, there alone,
To show that He would come again,
He alone, Here alone.

Now He’s brought His angels with Him,
And with them a vast throng;
Even now, His praises singing,
With their eternal song;

When their earthly life is over,
Here no more find a home;
They shall dwell with Him forever,
No more through earth to roam,

See Him come with power and glory,
All alone, all alone,
Waft them to that territory,
He alone, He alone;

Grace shall be their auditory,
All along, all along,
Where their heads shall not grow hoary,
In that home, in that home;

Love and praise Him through the aeons,
He alone, He alone;
For He gave Himself to save them,
He alone, He alone.
